The White Garden at Hidcote Manor

Predominantly, it was a topiary garden with touches of White in foliage and flower. This is an inverse proportion of the topiary/flower ratio the White Garden at Sissinghurst. The former is also a fourth of the size of the latter. They are both charming in their own way.

Lawrence Johnston masterful use of human scale keeps this room smaller & cozier next to the grand sweep long view to the Red Border.
